Lakeside Boathouse
Site and Context | Spatial Strategy & Logic | Spatial Narratives
This project explores how a compact boathouse volume is positioned along a sloped shoreline, establishing a clear relationship between land, water, and surrounding vegetation. The design focuses on simple massing articulation, sectional hierarchy, and controlled openings that frame lake views while maintaining a sense of enclosure. The visual work emphasizes spatial sequences from vegetation to dock, light and shadow variations, and seasonal atmospheres. Reflections, material contrast, and balanced viewpoints are used to communicate the integration of the structure with its natural setting and the clarity of its spatial logic.
Spatial design study developed under MONA Design Workshop, with visualization by Yakup Teker.
