King St W Office Proposal
Site and Context | Spatial Strategy & Logic | Spatial Narratives
This project explores a conceptual office proposal within the urban context of King Street West in Toronto. The design studies how a compact brick volume can respond to neighbouring heritage buildings, contemporary development, pedestrian movement, and the active streetcar corridor.
The spatial strategy focuses on simple massing, clear street frontage, elevated entry sequences, landscaped edges, and transparent workspaces connected to the public realm. The visual work highlights material contrast, urban context, light and shadow, and the relationship between the proposal and its surrounding city fabric.
Spatial design study developed under MONA Design Workshop.
